Baghdad International Fair
The Baghdad International Fair is the most important gateway for international business seeking opportunities, customers and partners in Iraq. First held in 1956 with just a handful of participants, the Fair now has hundreds of exhibitors and one-half million visitors annually and receives broad media coverage. The first days of the show are attended by top Iraq officials, including Iraq SOE officials, while the remainder is open to business and the general public, providing B2G, B2B and B2C companies unsurpassed access to the entire range of Iraqi buyers.
For the past three years, the U.S. Pavilion has been the first stop for Iraq's Prime Minister after his opening address and in 2012 was named Best Country Pavilion.
